Embroidery is drawing a picture with needle and stitches, and telling a story on the fabrics. Its basic element is stitches. Like drawing, it reflects the human custom, culture, psychology, etc.

Embroidery is a real art form. Artists express their pursuit of beauty through different forms, painter takes paint brush, sculptor takes earth and metal, wood sculptor takes the wood. Embroidery, like the above, expresses people's taste for beauty. However, embroidery is a comprehensive art. At the beginning, people embroidered on the most basic fabric along its weaving texture, later, anything was embroidered if it can be pulled through by needle and stitches.

Embroidery is a re-origination art on the woven fabrics, but it is not only augment of stitches and colors. It many produce a whole new sense, an art with woven, color and multiple stitches, certain outline and significance. Embroidery can invent arras, flower edge, pictures, theme, story and so on with stitches, scissors and printing fabric.

Fashion embroidery

Traditional embroidery is a very boring job, time consuming and expensive. From the perspective of practicality, we should conduct embroidery by machine. Only mass production enables everyone buy embroidery products at reasonable prices. In some special workshop which employed workers for manual embroidery, but not every one of us can afford such embroidery works.

Embroidery design needs imagination and certain significance, each embroidery works is designed by art professionals, then send to senior pattern-makers for embroidery software pattern making. This whole process is an art invention, the matching of stitches to the proper artwork, the tone change of each part is completed in this process, put artwork in the embroidery machine for trial version after plate making, the pattern-maker, according to trial embroidery, revise and improve repeatedly so as to achieve most perfect embroidery effect. Generally an artwork can be presented to the client over three trial versions or so.
